Dogs (limit of one per Unit), cats (limit of two per Unit), and other usual household pets are permitted provided that they are not kept, bred, or maintained for any commercial purposes. The Board of Directors is enforcing this policy. Effective February 1, 2017, no more than one dog is permitted per unit.
Attendance on Leash: All animals must be attended and on a leash when outside the confines of their Unit or fenced patio enclosure. Tethering of animals in an unfenced area does not constitute being “attended” and is not permitted.
Off-Limits: Only certified service animals are permitted in the pool enclosure or the Clubhouse.
Where to Walk: Owners are urged to walk their pets on the perimeter areas of the complex.
Disposal of Excrement: Owners are required to remove pet excrement from the property and to dispose of kitty litter properly. There is no kitty litter on the market that is flushable. DO NOT put kitty litter down any drain or try to flush it down the toilet.
Nuisance: Any pet causing or creating a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance shall be permanently removed from the property upon ten days’ written notice to the Unit Owner.
Harboring of Pets: A resident of Lions Head who harbors a pet on a temporary basis for a nonresident is bound by all of the above rules.
